BiographyHistory

Henryk Jurewicz was born in Lwów, Poland in 1940 and studied at the Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza (Academy of Mining and Metallurgy) in Kraków. He worked as an electrical engineer before migrating with his family to Australia in 1987. He began writing poetry in 1992. His writing has appeared in the Polish publications Kurier Zachodni and Alfa. He has spoken on Radio SBS and has produced a program titled 'Magazyn muzycznych wspomnień' (Scrapbook of Musical Memories) for the Polish Section of Radio 3ZZZ in Melbourne.
