BiographyHistory

Rupert McCall left his job as a solicitor in 1995 to concentrate on writing. He has worked as a poet, broadcaster, presenter, Master of Ceremonies, public speaker and travel host. In addition to his published books, McCall has also published CDs. In 2009, McCall attended Queensland's International Conference for Mental Health as writer-in-residence.

McCall was a nominee for the 2006 Quest Queenslander of the Year (Community) Award. He has been a supporter of several community organisations including the Kidney Support Network, the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, the Redcliffe Hospital Foundation and the Mater Hospital, Brisbane.
