BiographyHistory

Cecilia Netolicky is an exhibited painter and illustrator and has also written handbooks for adolescents. She studied Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin, USA, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with honours in anthropology from the University of Western Australia (UWA). Netolicky subsequently studied Balinese art and literature at a doctoral level at UWA and Monash University. She has worked as an art lecturer in the USA, Papua New Guinea and Australia, as well as tutoring in anthropology at UWA and Curtin University. She also holds a PhD in Education (Children with Special Needs) from Edith Cowan University. Netolicky often presents her miniature paintings along with her poetry to enhance their images.
