BiographyHistory

Kenneth Wallace-Crabbe was missing, believed dead, in Burma during the Second World War. A former journalist, he found his war experiences provided some material for his writing, illustrating and publishing activities after his return to Australia. Wallace-Crabbe is the father of poet Chris Wallace-Crabbe and artist and writer Robin Wallace-Crabbe (qq.v.). The latter wrote about Wallace-Crabbe in the autobiography A Man's Childhood.
