BiographyHistory

William Alexander Carter was a teacher, bush balladeer, accordion player, bush dance MC, and dab sketcher. He contributed to local newspapers and to the Bulletin, for which he wrote under numerous pseudonyms, most particularly 'The Prooshan'.
