BiographyHistory

Bidwell moved to Ireland in 1945. After working as a university librarian in Dublin, she joined the British Secret Service (MI6) and operated in Asia. She married in Penang, and her children are Malaysian-born. She travelled extensively, finally settling in Perth in 1971.
