Bella, an orphan girl, is rescued from a catastrophic shipwreck on the coast of Australia by Black Beauty, though the accident costs Bella her memory. Both Bella and the horse are adopted by a country doctor, but Bella finds herself haunted by dreams (or memories?) of a missing gold shipment.

A resourceful but under-funded soccer team is established by players in their early teens, living in a working-class area of Fremantle. With the assistance of their coach (a former soccer star) and team manager, they struggle against better-financed teams in the Junior League competition.

According to Moran in his Guide to Australian TV Series, 'The young cast was mainly drawn from Fremantle schools and all had played soccer, though few had any acting experience'.

Play for children, later adapted into a successful television program.

Falcon Island follows the adventures of three children: Paul, Jocko, and Kathy. Their activities bring them up against smugglers and sandminers as they attempt to preserve the wreck of a Dutch galleon, the Golden Falcon. Their escapades also invariably involve their family and friends on the small island community. The episodes were continuous and frequently ended with the children being caught up in some dangerous or suspenseful situation.

'Don and Shelley live happily together on a remote sheep farm in Western Australia but their marriage is threatened when a new farm hand arrives.'

Kornweibel talks about his family background; development of interest in music and coming to Australia in 1912 and gaining employment with the newspaper West Australian. He discusses the influence of music teacher, Alexander J. Leckie and looks at the impact of the A.B.C. (Australian Broadcasting Commission) on WA's musical society.

Kornweibel then describes his work with West Australian and Western Mail and his position as music critic and choice of pen-name, Fidelio. He talks about celebrities that performed in WA; Paul Hasluck's work as theatre critic 'Polygon'; community singing in the Town Hall and difficulties encountered as a music critic.

Kornweibel then talks about the series of public lectures that he gave on musical topics at the invitation of the A.B.C.; introduction of the Music Dept. at the University of Western Australia ca. 1951 and his views on church music.
