BiographyHistory

Vitali Vitaliev was born in Kharkov, Ukraine. He received a degree in foreign languages from Kharkov State University (1976), acquired extensive experience as a journalist and has worked as a columnist for The Age newspaper. He has held membership of the Australian Society of Authors, the Australian Journalists Association, and PEN. He has received several awards for his work in Journalism, including being twice voted Journalist of the Year.
