BiographyHistory

Power wrote parental instruction works, such as Mother and Child (1913), Toys, Their Use in the Life of a Child (1931) and a book about human consciousness, The Circle (circa 1940). She wrote an educational book for young readers titled Insect Stories for Little People (circa 1940), as well as 'A Memoir of Robert Blain' (1941) which only exists in manuscript form. (Power was the granddaughter of Blain, a pioneering Presbyterian minister.)

Power was the first President of the Society of Arts and Crafts of NSW, 1906-1908, and again in 1911.

In Australian Literature : A Bibliography to 1938 (Miller and Macartney 1956), and List of Australian Writers 1788-1992 (Arnold and Hay, 1995) Power's birth name is listed as Blair.
