BiographyHistory

Pat Slater collaborated with well-known nature photographer Steve Parish on several natural history books for children including Big Picture Book of the Great Barrier Reef (1995) and Big Picture Book of Australian Wildlife (1995). Slater also co-authored The Slater Field Guide to Australian Birds (1986) that has run to many editions.
