BiographyHistory

Edward Arnold Australia began publishing in Melboure in 1974, having previously existed as an agency of the London parent company. From 1984 the managing director was Terry Coyle, who recruited Marie Kelly as educational publisher. The imprint continued following the purchase of Edward Arnold by Hodder and Stoughton in 1987, and for some time after that company's merger with Headline in 1993 to form Hodder Headline.
