BiographyHistory

Boolarong Press is a Brisbane-based publishing house, founded by Lester Padman to assist regional authors. The name Boolarong is 'an Aboriginal derivative for which the nearest translation is "place of plenty"'. By 1985, Boolarong Press had published 82 titles. 'Boolarong Press has been assisting authors for over 20 years ... We provide all the services - from editing to distribution. Our objective is to provide a better means for local authors to have their works published'
