BiographyHistory

In August 1976 John Wiley bought Jacaranda Press for a little over a million American dollars and renamed it Jacaranda Wiley. The company was renamed John Wiley and Sons Australia, Ltd in 1999.

Textbooks, atlases and dictionaries for the Australian secondary school market continued to be published under the 'Jacaranda' imprint.
