BiographyHistory

Maximus Books was founded by Max Harris largely to publish the work of new Australian poets. It issued four collections of poetry in 1975, edited by Geoffrey Dutton. Publications were issued in limited editions, and made available to the subscription list of Mary Martin's Adelaide bookshop.
