BiographyHistory

Peter Spender gained a B.A. at Yale University and later studied at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. He has worked in public and government affairs, communications and marketing in the United States, Europe and Australia. From 1968 to 1969 he worked as Youth Program Manager in the White House, Washington, and later he worked as Director of Communications for the National Alliance of Businessmen, a Presidential Commission established by President Lyndon Johnson. He returned to Australia in 1970 and has been involved since then in public affairs and corporate communication. He has also written and produced several documentary films. In 1991 he was living in Sydney and managing director of the company, Peter Spender and Associates.
