BiographyHistory

Winsome Smith worked for a number of years as a school teacher, and initially began writing stories for Kindergarten of the Air. In addition to the works listed below, she has also written a number of school readers and educational books. She co-authored (with Carole Stannard and Vivien Warren) Remedial Reading in Secondary Schools (1978) and wrote Father, Pastor and Friend (1993), the biography of Methodist clergyman Rupert Harold Hayes. She has also published two instructional books for computer users, Don't Let Your Granny Buy a Computer (1991) and Granny's At the Computer Again (1994).
