BiographyHistory

Frieda Hughes, daughter of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes, graduated from St. Martin's School of Art, London, England, 1988 and is a painter, a poet and an illustrator of children's books. She first came to Perth in 1988, visited several more times, deciding to settle in Woorooloo, a small town east of Perth, in 1991.

In 1992 she took Australian citizenship.
