BiographyHistory

Scott was a Scottish journalist and writer who came to Australia and worked for newspapers including The Hobart Mercury and The Daily Telegraph (Sydney). He married Aileen Murphy in Brisbane and gave birth to two children in Australia and four in Great Britain. He is best known for his lost-race novel The Last Lemurian: A Westralian Romance (1898) however he wrote many other works.
