'A limited edition offset reproduction of a book originally intended to be printed in lead type by the Graphic Investigation Workshop at the Australian National University, Canberra. Its publication in 1998 was planned to commemorate the centenary of the death of Mallarmé, but for various reasons it did not eventuate. The two original translations (of Brennan into French and Mallarmé into English), are presented in original mock-up form, with brief commentary texts by Chris Wallace-Crabbe and Daniel Leuwers discussing the historical relationships between the poems. Reproductions illustrate the remaining original blocks of lead type set by the French typographer Thierry Bouchard. The unbound folded sheets of the book are presented within an embossed cover printed by Caren Florance. ' (Source: Libraries Australia)
