BiographyHistory

Esther Landolt was already a successful novelist when she accompanied her husband, Dr Moritz Meyer, to Melbourne, where he set up a medical practice. Delfine was awarded the Schiller prize by the Swiss Authors' Society. She wrote more works of fiction in Australia, which provided the setting for two of them in particular: Ewige Herde (1942) and Namenlos (1947).
