BiographyHistory

Journalist.

Lyons was Middle East correspondent for the Australian for six years, time he spent based in Jerusalem; the time is the subject of his memoir, Balcony over Jerusalem. With his wife Sylvie Le Clezio, he won three United Nations Human Rights Awards and a Walkley for contributions to 'Stone Cold Justice', an ABC TV's Four Corners special investigative report on the children of the West Bank.
