BiographyHistory

William Moore, educated at Scotch College, Melbourne, was art and drama critic for the Melbourne Herald and later for the Sydney Daily Telegraph. Moore organised Australian Drama Nights in Melbourne (1909-1912) to encourage the production of local plays. In the 'Preamble' to Studio Sketches (1906) he acknowledged the help of his friend, Louis Esson (q.v.).
