BiographyHistory

Renata Bosi-Corsini was born in Tolmino, Italy, and although she came to Australia as a student, she did not continue schooling at the time. In 1965 she published a collection of poems Bianco Baratro (White Abyss). She obtained her Higher School Certificate in 1975 and completed an Interpreter and Translator's Diploma ( National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters [NAATI] Level 3) in 1981. She has worked as a typist/secretary with a government department, and as an interpreter. In 1977/78 her poetry was read on Radio 5UV during the Adelaide Art Festival and she has read her work in Melbourne at Ross House (1985), at the Theatrework Centre, the Punters' Club (Spoleto Fringe), Fitzroy (1987), the Monash Centre, and monthly during 1990 at the Victorian Writers Centre. She has also written short stories.
