BiographyHistory

'Yuri Ryuntyu is an Australian writer, journalist, theatre and ballet critic. Following his studies at the Academy of Science, he moved to Sydney in 1980. His playwrights, poetry and prose are available in English, Russian, French, German, Finnish, Japanese and Kazakh.'

'He has published 62 books of literary and cultural criticism in Russia and Australia including: The Recipe for the Genius: Roman Victyuk, The Requiem for the Foresee: Yuri Lyubimov, The Great Surrenders: Ulanova, Nureyev, Dudinskaya, Esambayev, Ayukhanov, Plisetska, Abreast and Profile of The Imperial Russian Ballet: Vatslaw Nijinsky, Pavlova, Karsavina, Kseshinskaya, Ulanova, Nureyev'.

'He has also written for such publication as the Book Review, the Theatre Life, and the Megapolis Express~. He worked oversees as a Government Adviser of Russian Federation State: 1993-1996 (St.-Petersburg, Moscow) and a Government Consultant in the State of Kazakhstan: 1997-1998 (Almaty). A prizewinning scholar he was able to dedicate himself entirely to literature since 1995.'
