BiographyHistory

After growing up in Yorkshire, Joe Walker emigrated to Australia in 1928 and headed straight for the Northern Territory. His various occupations included jackeroo, miner, builder, excavator, dock worker, union secretary and newspaper editor. No Sunlight Singing is his only novel.
