BiographyHistory

Gertrude Hart grew up in Stawell, Victoria, and published her first story at the age of fourteen. Between 1930 and 1931 she ran a circulating library in Sandringham, Melbourne. She was a co-founder with Bernard Cronin of the Derelicts' Club, which later became the Society of Australian Authors, Melbourne .
