  • Author Hisashi Inoue visited Australia in 1976 and an essay about this stay was published in the same year in the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun as a series from 15-17 June entitled as "Rekishi ha Chiri ni Kanawanai" (Geography overwhelms history) . Other articles, "Mukyoso shakai" (No-competition society), "Nihongo Soshitsu" (Japanese Lost), "Shin hakugo shugi" (New White Australia Policy) and "Ikyo de Mitsuketa Nihongo" (Japanese Language found overseas) were published in the magazine Shukan Asahi on July 2, August 6, August 20 and August 27 respectively.
