A clinical psychologist, Mary Blackwood has most recently worked in senior managerial roles with the Tasmanian Dept. of Health and Human Services. Blackwood is a graduate of the University of Tasmania. Her poetry has appeared in Poetry Australia and other literary journals. She enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Writing at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Granddaughter of Agnes Morris and Carl Morris (qq.v.).
