BiographyHistory

Robert Zeller completed his doctoral studies at Pennsylvania State University, his thesis topic, "The Development of an Australian National Literature". He teaches Australian literature at Southeast Missouri State University and has published critical material on Joseph Furphy, Thomas Keneally, E. J. Banfield and Judith Wright (qq.v.).

Zeller has been treasurer of the American Association of Australian Literary Studies. He has also been recognised as an experienced marathon runner.
