Darcy is able to channel his anger into becoming successful in rugby league and becomes rich by underhand means. Darcy goes to university later in life and researches his childhood home, Cedar House, and its owner Peter Woodburn and uncovers his own identity. Author worked as science teacher and lecturer, and as Education Officer at the Australian Museum.
