Nour Dados was born in Beirut and spent a considerable part of her formative years living in cars, bomb shelters and relatives ' houses before migrating to Australia with her family. She has been Senior Research Associate in the Department of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on historical geographies of embodiment and material culture and intersections of space and power.
