— Appears in: The Sydney Mail , 31 March 1920; (p. 13)
A young woman goes to live in a timber town 'sixty miles or so from' Hobart to recover from an illness in the fresh air. The town - particularly the timber-workers - take her under their wing. When a bushfire threatens, 'Little Miss Red-Cap' rescues a gang of saw-millers trapped by the blaze. She marries the foreman and settles in the town for good.
