BiographyHistory

Andrew Lang was an aviator and motoring enthusiast. During the early 1920s, he wrote a weekly motoring column for the Sydney Mail under the name 'Napier Lion'. He was killed in 1924 whilst attempting to break the world 24 hour car touring record. Following Lang's death, the Sydney Mail serialised extracts from the manuscript of his semi-fictional autobiography, 'Reminisces of an Airman'.
