BiographyHistory

Pitt Street Poetry (PSP) was founded by Linsay and John Knight in 2012 from Sydney. They are a specialist publisher of contemporary poetry and selected reprints of modern classics. They have published 44 poetry books by 24 different poets (mostly Australian) over the last decade. Their books have twice won the Australian Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Poetry (in 2014 and 2017) and have won or been shortlisted for an encouraging variety of other poetry prizes. PSP started LEGERE Online Poetry Festival – where every Thursday and Friday, a poet will read one of their poems and one poem that they love.
