BiographyHistory

Martin Ditmar Jenssen was a founder member of the Melbourne Science Fiction Club. When he retired as head of the Meteorology Department at Melbourne University, he became an artist/illustrator, producing computer graphics for fanzine editors. The 'Ditmars' (Australian Science Fiction Achievement Awards) were named in recognition of Jenssen's support for Australian science fiction.
