Ian Dixon has worked as a writer, director and actor in film, television and international theatre. He completed his PhD at the Victorian College of the Arts, and has written screenplays funded by Film Victoria and the Australian Film Commission. Dixon has had extensive training as a director on television shows, including Neighbours and Blue Heelers. His directing credits include the award-winning short Cut, and Wee Jimmy, which won a director's commendation at the San Francisco International FiIm Festival.
