BiographyHistory

Feng Hai-Shan was a well-known painter in Hong Kong before moving to Australia in 1987 and settling in Sydney. (Feng migrated under the special immigration category for artistic talent.) He has held solo and group exhibitions of his work in America, Canada, Hong Kong, China and Australia and has won international awards for his artwork.

Feng is also a prolific poet and he has written an arts column in the Chinese Daily and the Sydney Chinese Express, and has been an Honorary Director of the Australian Oriental Artists' Association and the Australian Chinese Writers' Association of Sydney.
