BiographyHistory

Stumpy Martin Jampijinpa was born at Pawu (Mt. Barkly) in the Willowra area of the Northern Territory and belongs to the Warlpiri people. Jampijinpa worked on Anningie Station from childhood and was a leader in gaining Aboriginal land rights of Willowra in the 1970s and 80s.
