A performer, writer and director of puppet theatre, Michael Barlow 'trained with Noriko Nishimoto, ... studied contemporary mime under Kryszta Bodonyi at the HUSH School and holds a BA in Communication from Charles Sturt University.

'In 2007, Michael was appointed associate director of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. His credits include; 'The Birthday' (writer), 'The Night Zoo' (writer/director/animator), 'The Little Prince' (director) and 'The Arrival' (adapting writer/animator).'
