BiographyHistory

John Walker Fulton is described by Prints and Printmaking Australia Asia Pacific as a publisher, editor and newspaper proprietor, active in these roles in Sydney in 1828. According to the Australian Dictionary of Biography, Fulton was part of a group of 'Currency Lads' who agitated for self-government. Other like-minded men included Charles Tompson, Charles and Joseph Harpur and Horatio Wills (qq.v.).

At the time of publication of the journal Blossom (1828), Fulton was living at 10 Macquarie St, Parramatta.
