BiographyHistory

Jesuit and scholar, C. C. Martindale was to become internationally known - two 'concerns in particular were responsible for this development. His university background involved him in a Roman Catholic international university movement. He was also to become a member of the central committee which planned the Eucharistic Congresses which occur periodically in different parts of the world. He visited Switzerland, Yugoslavia, and Hungary in 1923, Poland, Hungary, and Germany in 1924, and in 1928 New Zealand and Australia.'
