Ella Lamb 'spent her early years in country Victoria, but has lived in Melbourne since the age of ten. She wrote her first "book", a ghost/alien invasion story, illustrated with stick figures, when she was nine after a camping trip to the Grampians. She still loves writing about ghosts, aliens and things that are possible only in the imagination but also enjoys reading historical novels and fantasy, playing Wii and researching family history. She was inspired to start writing for children by reading to her own two kids.'
