BiographyHistory

Khyiah Angel 'began her career as a high school teacher in the Nepean/Blue Mountains area. She spent some years in the south-east of the state, near Braidwood, before moving to Sydney [in 2010] to take up a job in the public service.' Angel resigned after a few months and moved into writing full time.

Angel has undergraduate degrees in Education, History, and Philosophy & Politics; and Masters degrees in Gender Studies and Creative Writing.
