BiographyHistory

A. J. Boyd served at Gallipoli in World War I and contributed to The Anzac Book (1916).

Australian War Memorial records suggest that he might have been Alexander James Boyd ( ca. 1888-1961), Service No. 1804, who stated his occupation as 'journalist' at the time he enlisted in 1915. However, this remains to be established.
