BiographyHistory

Christopher Croft is an artist. He studied photoetching at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart from 1976 to 1978. Three years later, he created drawings and prints in Berlin in a work entitled "The Memory Theatre". This sculptural project which was made up of a large, fragile wooden construction - filled with small, colourful objects - was finally completed and exhibited in Sydney a year later. After longer stints in Germany, Italy and France, he has been living in England and continues to exhibit his works in Germany as well, such as in 2005 at the Berlin gallery Caprice Horn.
