Leila Murray is the wife of Arthur Murray and the mother of Eddie Murray (qq.v.) who died in suspicious circumstances in a police cell in the northern New South Wales town of Wee Waa in 1981. Arthur and Leila Murray took on the responsibility of searching for the truth and fought for over twenty years to have the death of their son properly investigated.
