Adam Hatzimanolis was born in 1957 of Australian and Greek parents. He has published drama and poetry and studied a BA and Associate Diploma in Performing Arts at Wollongong University and has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of New South Wales. He later joined the Sidetrack Theatre Company (Sydney's multicultural community theatre company).
