Film and television director/producer.

As a director John Richardson oversaw the production of the 1983 feature, Dusty. Based on the 1946 children's novel by Frank Dalby Davidson, it focused on a half kelpie, half Dingo sheep dog. He later produced the Dusty television series which aired on Network 10 in 1988. Among Richardson's other productions as producer are On the Line (1984), The Australian Alps: Mirka's Palace of Dream (TV, 1987) and The Aftermath (TV, 1992).
