Kathleen Kemarre Wallace is an elder who belongs to the Eastern Arrernte people in the Northern Australia. During her teenage years, Kathleen Kemarre Wallace was taken to Santa Teresa Mission as a result of food shortages and drought. She has retained the cultural knowledge taught to her as a child and is active in the sharing and making sure Arrernte traditional knowledge is handed on. Wallace was a founding artist at Keringke Arts.
