BiographyHistory

Mary Lee was born at Police Paddock now known as Stuart Park in the Darwin area. She remembers Japanese planes flying over Darwin during the Second World War. Her father served in the War on an ammunition boat that was hit and he never returned. After marrying, Mary Lee had eleven children and raised eighteen.
